Many codes at once

Uses the colours and error correction set above. Labels become file names and captions.

What you need

Just your UPI ID (like name@okaxis) and the name to show. Add an amount for a fixed fee, or leave it empty so the customer types it.

How to make your code

  1. Type your UPI ID exactly as your payments app shows it, and the payee name.
  2. Add an amount in ₹ and a note if you want them fixed; leave them empty for an open code.
  3. Download the code, or make the printable Scan & Pay card.
  4. Test it: pay ₹1 to yourself from another phone and check that the right name appears.

Print a counter card

“Printable Scan & Pay card” makes an A6 PDF with a big code, your name and UPI ID — print it and put it on the counter.

Fixed amount or open amount

A fixed amount suits payments that are always the same — tuition fees, society maintenance, an event ticket. A shop counter needs an open code, because every bill is different. The note travels with the payment, so something like “Class 10 tuition – June” makes it easy to match payments later.

Safety

Payments go straight to your UPI ID; masstree.in never sees or stores it. Always check the name shown in the customer's app before they pay. Remember that you never need to scan a code or enter your UPI PIN to receive money — the PIN is only for paying — so anyone asking you to scan to “receive a refund” is running a scam. Confirm each payment in your own bank app or SMS before handing over goods, because a payment screenshot can be faked, and laminate the printed card so nobody can stick a different code over it.

Personal or merchant code

A code made from a personal UPI ID is fine for occasional payments, a home tuition class or a small stall. If you take many payments a day, a merchant QR from your bank or payments app adds instant alerts, such as a sound box, and settlement reports. For a code with your own logo or colours, use the QR Code Generator.

Questions

Which apps can scan it?

Every UPI app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay and bank apps.

Can I fix the amount?

Yes, fill in the amount; leave it blank to let the payer enter it.

Are there any fees?

No. The code is free and payments are between the payer and your bank.
